Celebrate your wedding at the Porto Vecchio in Malcesine on Lake Garda

We are waiting for you at the Porto Vecchio in Malcesine to celebrate your wedding.

The restaurant is just a 5 minute walk from the Scaligero Castello, the Palazzo dei Capitani and the church. With our Ape Calessino we will take you from the hotel to the ceremony and to our restaurant. We organize an aperitif with a buffet on the lake and a wide  menu for adults and children. We can host up to 100 people on the two terraces on the outside and 40 inside.

2 first courses (we usually suggest lasagna and spaghetti carbonara – as they are typical of Italian cuisine and most people like them)

Choice between fillet of beef or fish (your guests will be choosing on the spot ) with side dish ( usually potatoes and spinach)

1 dessert (usually fresh strawberries with whipped cream – as it’s fresh!)

Wedding cake (to be chosen from White, fresh fruit or tiramisù cake)

Sehr gutes Essen, tolles Ambiente

Hier stimmt Preis-Leistung und man ist sehr um den Gast bemüht. Tolles Flair vor allem zum Sonnenuntergang direkt mit Blick auf den See. Die Karte hat viel zu bieten. Man reichte uns Sekt als Geschenk des Hauses und im Anschluss an das Essen gab es Zitronenlikör. Eine sehr nette Geste, die nicht überall zu finden ist. Einen Tag zuvor aßen wir im Restaurant nebenan und zum gleichen Preis haben wir im La Place gefühlt das doppelte erhalten. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und ich werde sehr gerne hier wieder essen, wenn ich am Gardasee bin. Mit einem guten Gefühl gehe ich heute nach dem Abendessen zu Bett! Danke La Pace!

Pizzeria-Ristorante La Pace...il top di malcesine

Domenica 22 luglio,dopo una bella passeggiata in centro, abbiamo trovato nel borgo vecchio di malcesine il ristorante-pizzeria La Pace e ne abbiamo approfittato del momento, chiedendo se ci fosse posto. Accoglienza ottima,abbiamo assaporato dall'antipasto della casa alla pizza.
Tutto molto buono e gustoso e soprattutto abbondante. Abbiamo chiesto per curiosità di dove fossero lo chef e il pizzaiolo, entrambi meridionali. La tradizione non tradisce.
Ottima scelta... saluto il titolare Sergio, una persona molto cordiale.

Lunch, Dinner and Wedding Reception visit

We first came here for lunch in April last year when planning our wedding and both the food and service were exceptional, so we decided to have our lakeside toast here following the wedding.

All of our guests commented on how great the food was, and there was more than enough prosecco to go around, so much so that we ended up taking two unopened bottles with us on the boat trip we had planned after the lakeside toast.

Some of our guests came back here again for dinner during their stay and thoroughly enjoyed it, saying it was some of the best food they’d had. We came back for lunch before we left as well, and would highly recommend it

Lovely meal in a lovely location

The location is lovely - one of four restaurants in the old harbour square. It is very popular but takes a little bit of finding, being away from the main town. The food was excellent and service great. When you ask for the bill they bring you a bottle of limoncello and a glass each - a real treat. We'd recommend the Piazza Magenta as a great place to eat and La Pace is excellent. Get there a bit early (7ish) and bag a front row table for people-watching and to catch the sun setting over the other side of the lake. Lovely.
